Thermal Analysis Of Mosquito Replient
 
One of our customer from consumer appliances industry shared their design of Mosquito repellant with us and asked us to analyze the thermal behavior of complete assembly under three load cases.
 
        Each load case has specific temperature to be applied to the heater and measure the behavior of complete assembly. Final objective was to check that no parts reaches its melting point in operating condition.
 
Complete assembly was meshed by CAE consultant team, boundary conditions applied. Natural convection was assumed around body 5W/m^2 K convective heat transfer of coefficient. It was observed that the temperature from aluminum housing was transferred to coil through radiation. Rear cover experienced the maximum temp 150 deg C at the nylon top mounting location.
